Markdown Editor
Core FeatureWrite your content using standard Markdown syntax. The editor renders a live preview as you type.
- 1Click on the editor pane on the left side to start typing.
- 2Use standard Markdown syntax: # for headings, **bold**, *italic*, - for lists, etc.
- 3The right pane updates in real-time, showing a formatted preview of your document.
Preview Mode
Side PanelClick the Preview button to open a side panel with a clean, read-only rendering of your Markdown content.
- 1Click the Play button in the editor toolbar.
- 2A side panel opens on the right and displays a fully rendered preview of your Markdown.
- 3Use the Markdown linter in Preview Mode to identify and fix formatting issues.
Rich Text
InteractiveSwitch your Markdown into Editable Preview mode to type directly inside the rendered output.
- 1Click the preview to edit content directly (no Markdown needed).
- 2Use the toolbar for bold, italic, headings, lists, and more.
- 3Content appears formatted and fully editable.
- 4Important: After editing here, you can't switch back to Markdown.
Paste AI Text
Ctrl + Shift + VPaste clipboard content as AI-generated text. It appears highlighted with a soft color spectrum so you can track AI contributions at a glance.
- 1Copy the text you want to insert as AI content.
- 2Press Ctrl + Shift + V (⌘ + Shift + V on Mac) in the editor.
- 3Pasted text appears in the color spectrum.
- 4As you edit, the color fades to normal.
Paste as Human Text
Ctrl + VStandard paste (Ctrl + V) inserts text as regular human-authored content — no special color or AI label applied.
- 1Copy any text to your clipboard.
- 2Place your cursor where you want to insert it in the editor.
- 3Press Ctrl + V (or ⌘ + V on Mac) to paste.
- 4The text inserts as normal content, indistinguishable from what you typed manually.
Right-Click Context Menu
Right ClickRight-click anywhere in the editor or preview to access a quick-action context menu with helpful shortcuts.
- 1Right-click on any text or empty area inside the editor.
- 2A context menu appears with options such as: Paste as AI Text, Paste as Human Text, Copy, and more.
- 3Click any option to perform the action instantly at your cursor position.
